Fall/Winter 2010 11
Tsumori Chisato graduated from Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo and soon after that, she started working for Issey Miyake. She launched her own collection in 2003. Her unique aesthetics give a fairytale feeling in every collection. She uses vivid colors, combining them in innovative ways giving breath taking prints. Her pattern cutting is definitely influenced by the japanese school and manga culture.
Her FW 2010 11 collection is inspired by the circus, giving a more romanian gypsy twist and the film Belle du Jour.
My personal favorite from Chisato are her stars harem pants from her Fall/Winter 2009 10 collection.
